Your Donation Provides Critical Support to Those in Need

Why Donate?

Southern Berkshire Ambulance Service is committed to providing the highest level of emergency medical care throughout its operating areas. This superior standard of care is achieved through the dedication of an exceptionally trained and committed volunteer and career staff applying state-of-the art emergency medical knowledge, skills, protocols, and equipment.

Continued support from the communities we serve is the foundation for our success. Emergency care information, education and training, and cooperation with other healthcare partners, like Fairview Hospital, enhance our ability to serve.

It costs money to obtain this degree of service and life saving medicine. SBAS receives no tax dollars and relies strictly on insurance reimbursement, which is markedly decreasing due to Federal cuts. The cost of procurement and maintaining ambulance units and medical equipment is costly, in addition to educating our providers, maintaining a state of readiness, and the overall cost of operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year can be attained through the generosity of the citizens in the communities we serve.

Please donate now to support us in our mission to provide the highest quality pre-hospital emergency care and medical transportation for our communities.

On behalf of the SBAS Board of Directors, administrative staff, and employees, we thank you for your generosity.
